We understand that our patients lead busy lives with little time to spare. That’s why all of the experts at Adaptive Neuropsychological Services offer online counseling and telehealth services for a variety of neurologic and psychiatric conditions for children and adults. Our telehealth service allows our patients to receive comprehensive and evidence-based assessments, treatments, and more – on their own time, in the comfort of their own space.
How Does Telehealth Work?
Using the microphone, speakers, and camera in your mobile device or computer, you can set up a video chat with your ANS neuropsychologist to maintain your treatment routine. Just as in an in-person visit, your privacy is preserved and you get the same individualized attention.
Once you have scheduled your telehealth appointment with your doctor, you will receive a web link that will be active during your appointment window. Be sure you have internet access, otherwise, you will not be able to connect to the telehealth site. If possible, it will benefit you to find a room where you can be alone and avoid noise or distractions. Your doctor will virtually “meet” you in this online platform to provide your standard services. Before the appointment is finished, you may schedule future appointments, then exit the telehealth platform.
If you’re interested in learning more about telehealth neuropsychology or to set up an appointment to meet with one of our doctors, please call our office at (646) 493-6050. You can also request a telehealth appointment using our convenient online form. Be sure to select the “Telehealth” appointment option when requesting an appointment.
